An exciting find for any mushroom aficionado! Although true Morels are rare you won’t need to forage too far or keep the location quiet about these Morel Mushrooms. With their stunning honeycomb-like texture inspired by the Morel Mushroom they will be a small statement piece for any bookshelf, kitchen counter or bedroom for any fan of the fungi.

Morel Mushrooms typically grow in early April to early June and they are an elusive mushroom. It’s said they prefer musty and damp locations but can grow in flower beds, backyards and forests. Experienced foragers seem to prefer old growth forests or recent logging areas. They are also typically found in Michigan woods. If you’re going to seek out Morel Mushrooms in the wild make sure you have someone experienced who can differentiate from poisonous mushrooms and if you feel sick seek out medical attention straight away.

Each piece is wheel-thrown and finished by hand in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

"Although the mushrooms all look the same from a distance, once you get up close you can see the variations and how beautifully unique each one truly is... it really makes each piece a treasure!"

- Leah Morse, founder and potter
