Every pottery piece that is made at Goldfinch pottery is handcrafted and unique. Second pottery pieces are items that vary a bit more. They may be shorter, taller, wider, have a different shape or have small glaze discrepancies. These differences are what makes them even more unique, however the differences do not affect the quality or functionality of the item. Those differences just make them more lovable if you are drawn to the beauty of imperfection.

It’s thought that the ancient Egyptians were the first to make the closest dish resembling the modern pie. Bring your family and friends together to enjoy your homemade pie in a unique handmade stoneware pie dish, perfect for an ancient Egyptian honey pie, traditional British meat pie or your classic American apple pie.

All Glazes are mixed in house and thus glaze color may vary slightly with different batches and or from screen to person. All our pottery is Microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. We recommend using a gentle detergent and avoid temperature shock by heating. Due to the nature of handmade stoneware, staining can occur to unglazed areas when oils, liquids, and solids that stain come in contact with the surface.
