Second - Dahlia Mug
Second - Dahlia Mug
All Seconds are Final Sale items.
Every pottery piece that is made at Goldfinch pottery is handcrafted and unique. Second pottery pieces are items that vary a bit more. They may be shorter, taller, wider, have a different shape or have small glaze discrepancies. These differences are what makes them even more unique, however the differences do not affect the quality or functionality of the item. Those differences just make them more lovable if you are drawn to the beauty of imperfection.
Introducing our exquisite handmade Dahlia mug. Each Mug is thrown on the wheel, carved and handled by our skilled artisan here in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
The Dahlia mug draws inspiration from the captivating beauty of the Dahlia flower, known fro its show-stopping presence. This mug reflects the Victorian symbolism associated with the Dahlia - beauty, dignity, devotion, and love. It's not just a mug, but a piece of art that tells a story and adds a touch of elegance to your home.
Crafted from high-quality stoneware clay, this mug is made to last. It has been designed to be passed down as a cherished heirloom, creating a lasting legacy fro your family. Each sip taken from his mug will be a reminder of the love and care that went into it's creation.
The Dahlia flower, native to the high plains of Mexico and other regions of central and South America, has a rich history of being used possibly for both food and medicine. By incorporating this historical significance into the design, our Dahlia mug becomes more than just a functional item - it becomes a connection to nature and a celebration of its wonders.
